Bread Cutlet Recipe | Tasty bread cutlet


4 bread slices, large size

2 boiled potatoes (mashed)

1 onion, finely chopped

1 green chilli, finely chopped

Few coriander leaves, finely chopped

Salt to taste

1 tsp chilli powder

¼ tsp cumin/ jeera powder

¾ tsp garam masala

Lemon juice from half lemon

2 tsp corn flour

Oil to deep fry



  • Firstly boil the potatoes and peel the skin off and mash it finely

  • Take the bread slices and cut the sides of it.

  • Scramble the bread slices in to small pieces

  • Add mashed potatoes, onion, green chilli, coriander leaves and salt to taste

  • also add 1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder, ¼ tsp jeera powder, ¾ tsp garam masala, lemon juice and 2 tsp corn flour or bread crumbs


  • combine everything well
  • take small portion of the bread mixture and shape the cutlets with greased hands

  • deep fry the cutlets in medium hot oil until it turns golden brown

  • take out from the oil and drain off the excess oil with the kitchen tissue
  • serve the cutlet hot with tomato ketchup
