Butter biscuits recipe | Eggless butter cookies

Butter Cookies is a favorite tea time snack for many. And to your surprise its quiet easy to prepare at home and stack up. Lets see how to do that.

Ingredients: (1 cup = 240 ml)

220 grams butter, unsalted

½ cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla essence

1.5 cups maida or all purpose flour

Preparation:

  • Take 220 grams of softened butter in large mixing bowl and mix until it turns creamy
  • Add ½ cup powdered sugar and mix until it turns white and fluffy
  • Add 1 tsp vanilla essence and mix well
  • Add flour and combine everything well with the spatula(do not knead the dough)
  • Make small balls and gently mark with the fork or you can make your desired shapes
  • also with the help of a piping bag , shape the cookies on the baking paper
  • bake in preheated oven at 180°c for 12 to 15 minutes or until brown at the edges of the cookies
  • Once it cools down it will be crispy

Butter cookies are ready to serve.

 

Notes:

  • You can also add ¼ tsp salt while making the cookie dough.
  • Butter should be very soft, so that it is easier to mix with the whisk.
