Mushroom Soup

Mushroom soup is a very healthy and tasty appetizer. Lets see how to easily prepare it at home.

 

Ingredients : ( 1cup = 240 ml)

2 tsp gingelly oil

2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

2 tbsp spring onion, whites

150 gms mushrooms, chopped

1 tsp pepper powder

Salt to taste

2.5 cups water

Few coriander leaves, finely chopped

Few spring onions, finely chopped

¼ cup water

2 tsp corn flour

 

Preparation:

  • Heat 1tsp gingelly oil in a kadai. Add chopped garlic and spring onion whites, sauté for a minute
  • Add chopped mushrooms, ¼ tsp salt and ¼ tsp pepper powder, sauté for two minutes
  • Add 2 ½ cups of water and add salt as per your taste
  • Take ¼ cup of water and mix 2 tsp of corn flour without lumps
  • Once the soup starts boiling, add corn flour mixture and stir continuously for a minute
  • Cook until the raw smell of cornstarch goes off
  • Now the soup will turns thick
  • Garnish with some finely chopped coriander leaves and also with some choppedspring onions
  • Finally, we can add pepper powder as per the taste
