Pizza, being an Italian recipe has entered the houses of Indians these days. It’s a favourite recipe for many out there and I am no exception. For all those who don’t have an oven at home, don’t worry, if you have a pan/tawa, that’s just enough to make pizza. Here I bring you Homemade Pizza recipe without using yeast and without oven by just using pan/tawa. Let’s see the recipe in detail now,

Servings: 3

Ingredients: (1cup=240ml)

2 cups maida / all purpose flour

1 tsp sugar

1.5 tsp baking powder

Salt to taste

½ cup curd

Water as required

1 tsp olive oil

For toppings:

Pizza sauce as required

Mozzarella cheese as required

Some sliced capsicum

Some sliced onion

Sweet corn few

Some oregano

 

Preparation:

  • In a mixing bowl, add 2 cups of maida
  • Followed by add 1 tsp sugar, salt to taste, 1.5 tsp baking powder and ½ cup curd and mix well
  • Add water as required and start to knead
  • Coat with oil to prevent dryness
  • Cover and rest this for 2 to 3 hours
  • After 2 hours take the dough out and knead for a minute
  • separate two to three equal portions(depending on the size of the pizza you want)
  • roll this with the rolling pin to slightly thick, dust the flour before rolling hence the dough does not stick
  • transfer this to the pan and prick with the fork to prevent fluffing
  • cook this for a minute on medium heat or till the bubbles start to appear
  • now turn the pizza base and spread pizza sauce
  • then spread generous amount of mozzarella cheese
  • top this with some capsicum, onions and sweet corn
  • add 1 tsp oil on the sides of the pizza base
  • cover and cook this for 8 minutes or until cheese start to melt
  • Finally add some oregano, cut pieces and serve hot
