Easy snack in just 10 mins | Pori Urundai recipe | Puffed Rice Ladoo | Crispy Pori Urundai

Ingredients: (1 cup = 240 ml)

1 cup jaggery

¼ cup water

3 cups puffed rice/ pori

 

Preparation:

  • Take a large heavy bottom kadai or pan, add in 1cup jaggery and ¼ cup water
  • Cook until jaggery melts completely and strain the jaggery water and transfer to the kadai
  • Boil the jaggery syrup in medium flame until it forms round hard ball
  • Check the consistency by dropping the jaggery syrup in to the bowl of water, it should form a round hard ball, else boil for another minute and check again
  • Now switch off the flame and add puffed rice/pori and mix until the jaggery syrup and puffed rice is combined well
  • Wet your hand with water and prepare ladoo when the mixture is warm
  • We can store the pori urundai for a month in an airtight container
