Ragi Sweet Adai Recipe | Ragi Recipes | Healthy Sweet Recipe

 

Ragi is a kind of millet, which is highly nutritious and used in everyday diet in most part of Karnataka. People who wish to reduce weight can go for ragi diet as it controls cravings. Here we are going to see Ragi sweet adai which we can use as a snack and also for gaining weight healthily

 

Ingredients: (1 cup = 240 ml)

1 Banana

1 cup Ragi flour

ΒΌ tsp cardamom powder

Pinch salt

2 Tbsp jaggery

Water as required

Ghee as required

 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, add banana and mash well.
  • Add ragi flour, cardamom powder, jaggery, pinch salt and mix well
  • Then sprinkle some water and mix into soft dough
  • In a baking sheet, add little ghee and spread over the sheet
  • Take small portion of ragi dough and flat slightly thick on baking sheet or we can also spread directly in to the pan using wet spoon
  • Heat the pan and add some ghee
  • Cook the adai for 3 to 4 minutes with some ghee, now flip and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes
  • For variation, we can also use some finely chopped or grated coconut into the ragi dough and prepare ragi sweet adai
