Veg Fried Rice | Vegetable fried rice recipe

Veg fried rice is a famous Indo-Chinese recipe. In India it has become very popular street food menu. The vegetables we are using like carrot, beans, capsicum, spring onions make the recipe more flavorful and colorful. Secret of perfect and tasty veg fried rice is long grain rice, so we should cook the rice perfectly without mushy. The taste may differ from one another because of the ingredients. It goes well with Gobi Manchurian or veg Manchurian.

 

Servings: 2

Ingredients: (1 cup = 240ml)

1 tbsp oil

5 garlic cloves, finely chopped

3 tbsp spring onion whites, finely chopped

1 green chilli, finely chopped

¼ cup carrot, finely chopped

¼ cup beans, finely chopped

¼ cup capsicum, finely chopped

½ tsp pepper powder

2 tsp soya sauce

1 tsp red chilli sauce (optional)

2 tsp white vinegar

Salt to taste

2 cups cooked basmati rice

3 tbsp spring onion green, finely chopped

 

Preparation:

  • Heat a large pan, add 1 tbsp oil, add garlic and onion and sauté well
  • Add 1 finely chopped green chilli
  • Add chopped veggies and sauté well in high flame
  • Now add salt, pepper powder, soya sauce, vinegar, red chilli sauce and mix well
  • Add cooked rice and mix gently without breaking the rice
  • Add spring onions and mix everything well in high flame

Now Fried Rice ready to serve!!
